Online Entrepreneurs Over 50: Yes, We Really Do Exist…
It may seem odd to those of us out here doing this ‘after 50′ entrepreneur thing – but it seems that there are still a lot of people that think the internet is the home of the under 25 crowd..and younger.
We are here to tell you that this is just not so….and started this community – and a few other projects to prove it.
The truth of the matter is that our demographic is now the fastest growing segment of web users – and we are starting internet-based businesses in record numbers, in no small part due to the fact that many of us have seen our careers take a hike and our retirement ‘nestegg’ disappear, while we are not only still putting kids through college, but also caring for our elderly parents at the same time.
We’re tired of working 60+ hr weeks for someone else, and want a chance at a real life, so we are stepping out to become our own bosses in record numbers.
One of those projects we started to prove how active we are online is an ‘in the works’ and very soon to be published ebook of tales from the ‘silver side’ of the internet – those brave entrepreneurial spirits that are over the age of 5o and running an online enterprise.
If you fit the profile – or are close to that silver age – we hope that you will take a few minutes to complete the online submission form and join the project.
